The country is in ruins. The military has been depleted to half its original size, with numerous casualties, both soldier and citizen alike. The royal family is in need of reinforcements.
House Aelius, the ruling family of the country facing war, sends their first daughter off the marriage to another kingdom ruled by House Cyfrin in order to increase their armies once more. But it takes a turn for the worst when they realize that she- Johanna- has gone missing. As an effort to make the alliance happen, Helena volunteers to go in her sister's place. But what happens when she's captured by the heir of the enemy kingdom?
