If you have not read the previous story "Bound" go back and read it! This won't make much sense otherwise. But... I'll put a short summary to refresh your memory.

Almost a year ago, Merlin and the knights were captured by the sorceress Edith. Due to her magic-controlling manacles, Merlin was imprisoned and forced to use magic under her control. Incidentally, Camelot's crew and Morgana crossed paths. Now, they are all back in Camelot. Merlin's free, Morgana is imprisoned but she is warning up to the idea of Camelot and those who live there. But what now? Have they really seen the end of Edith? What will it mean for the kingdom when Arthur is crowned king?

They are met with an ambush and a mysterious sorcerer with a pair of magical cuffs. Instead of putting them on Arthur, which is what everyone expected, she decides to give them to Merlin instead. Unbeknownst to all of them, the cuffs are made to control one's magic and bind it to another's command. How will Arthur and the knights react?
