Opposites don't just attract, they furiously clash together. They break down the walls we have built around us and provide a new perspective, that it's okay to fall and let others in. Levi Ackerman doesn't know how to love without it tearing down every aspect of his life; years of seeing the people he loved die closed off his heart. Now, he finds it hard to balance loving someone and protecting himself. Since the death of her childhood friend, (y/n) can't shake how emotionally invested she is in every relationship she makes. It is a trait her Squad Leader, Zoë Hanji, finds admirable and comforting, but also a trait that Levi finds detrimental to being a scout. Guilt and trauma can make us do selfish things. Will they both reject they ways they make each other stronger, or can they grow together and create something beautiful?
