prologue
"i'm leaving" he quickly shot out, looking relieved now that it was finally out. I felt like the air had been knocked out of me. My face must have resembled a rabbit caught infront of headlights.

"well aren't you happy for me?" I could tell he was craving for me to answer but the words were caught in my throat and the only thing I could do was nod my head as my eyes began to water.
Seconds later I was tightly embraced in his arms for what was probably going to be the last time.

That was the morning he left us and didn't even look back. The morning where I lost all hope in love because I was unable to utter those three precious words.
