Mother's Love

Caroline is an original everything goes as scheduled on the history of the originals. Before they were turned into vampires Caroline and Klaus were in love and got married. Although their marriage was only days before Henrik's death. Caroline was turned along with the other Mikelson. On the run from Miakel for so long, the Originals end up in New Orleans. They help build the city. As the city flourished the Mayor's son died (murdered by Klaus), during the funeral Klaus and Caroline walk hand in hand, as they walk they hear an all to filimar sound of a wip swiping across skin along with the smell of blood. As they approach the sounds they see it is a slave boy being wiped by a white master on a horse. Though something they did not expect, the boy stood and grabbed an apple and threw it at his master with a small breath of relief. Klaus notices something in the boy, he doesn't quite know what it is exactly but he swiftly grabs a small rock and fires it at the master effectively killing him. Klaus walks to the young boy and asks his name "What is your name?"
"Don't have one. Mother wouldn't name me until I turned ten in case the fever took me - it took her."
"Well you need a name. How about Marcellous, it is from Mars. It means 'Little Warrior'"

Throughout the next years in New Orleans Klaus and Caroline raise Marcellous as their own. Caroline becomes especially attached to Marcel, he is her son and she is his mother. Like Klaus is his Father.
