Utsuki Sayuri and Itadori Yuji have been inseparable since childhood - two ordinary kids growing up in the countryside, promising to always stay together no matter what. But everything changes the night Yuji swallowed a Cursed Object and became the vessel of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

As Yuji is pulled into the cold and unforgiving world of jujutsu, Sayuri follows him to Tokyo Jujutsu High determined to not let him face everything alone. Yet the closer she stays, the more something dangerous begins to awaken within her - an ancient, overwhelming power that she herself could barely understand.

With Ryomen Sukuna's presence straining Yuji's humanity and Sayuri's own existence drawing fear from the jujutsu world, the promise they made as children starts to crack.
