"So love is indeed blind" Samantha murmured under her breath when she just realized how much she has fallen for Jake whom once kidnapped her and helped her escapes at the same time, and now they've been in a run together away from his boss who turned out to be his dad, "I will not tolerate your stupidity Sam" Jake exclaimed, making the room evaporate from his masculine voice. Samantha at the same time where she's supposed to be moved by the loud and angry tone she gets closer to him and runs her soft fingers on his chest, she knows by now where to touch and calm him down, she understands him by now that he is only a beautiful beast, he smiles at her tricks but that doesn't last long when he pushes her to the bed they've been standing next too, as they argued about moving out again which Samantha disagrees with, she's tired of this runaway lifestyle. "Again, I am not to tolerate your stupidity," he says then turns on his heels straight to the shower room, as the water runs Samantha is left alone thinking to herself on how to get away from Jake's dad and still come at him for revenge as he killed her parents, the night when she met Jake the same Jake that almost broke her leg is the one she named the beautiful beast, the same beautiful beast that dragged her aggressively a few months ago when she tried escaping from him, his dad and others, the same Jake is the one she's now madly in love with, reminds me of Bonnie and Clyde.

A year. A whole year since she last saw him. The memory of their last conversation, sharp and stinging, still resonated in her mind. They had been raw, exhausted, and ultimately, convinced they were hurting each other more than helping. The hunt for Hannah had dominated their lives, a relentless pursuit fueled by adrenaline and a desperate hope that had eventually fractured under the weight of reality. Then, there he was. Jake. His eyes, the same captivating brown that used to hold her captive, were now settling on her. A flicker of surprise, then... something else. Something that mirrored the ache in her own heart. The idea of a second chance, of rebuilding something with Jake, was terrifying and exhilarating all at once. But looking into his eyes, Madisyn saw a sincerity, a depth of understanding that she hadn't seen a year ago. They had both grown, both learned. Maybe, just maybe, they could make it work. Their love story wasn't conventional. It wasn't built on casual coffee dates and lighthearted laughter. It was forged in the crucible of loss and desperation, strengthened by shared trauma and a deep, unwavering connection. However, the challenges were far from over. She knew their love wouldn't be easy. It would be a constant battle, a continuous effort to understand and support each other through the inevitable storms. But as she watched Jake, a warmth spread through her chest. He was her hacker, her partner, her love. They had found each other in the darkness, and together, they would keep fighting for the light. But... was love enough? Love hadn't shielded them from the pain before! What if the ghosts of the past were too strong? What if the weight of their shared trauma ultimately crushed them again? What if, in trying to find the light, they only stumbled further into the darkness? Maybe loving him was the only thing that would break her again. What if...
