    Lucas Wilde is wild and carefree at heart. He has the tendency to not follow the rules or do things by the book. Which just makes Sydney loathe him even more when his new coffee shop down the street has been stealing the thunder from her French inspired patisserie. 
    
    Sydney Wylde is the meticulous type. She's spent years in culinary school and studied under one of the top pastry chefs in France to get to where she is today. She is a perfectionist to say the very least in every aspect of her life. Except her love life, which is completely non-existent and that's how she wants to keep it. Coming from a dysfunctionally divorced family she doesn't believe in love and doesn't plan on ever getting close enough to find out. 
    
    Can Lucas's messy outlook on life and unconventional ways open up Sydney's heart to a new outlook on love? What happens when the two opposites attract against all odds when they are forced to work together in the town's charity Christmas bake-off?
