Fai'miir and a Flare

A short fantasy story revolving around Fai'miir, an old mage gone rogue, and Airen, a young mage with more power than he knows what to properly do with. The magic system's basic terms I got inspiration for roughly from a reddit post, but it's actual mechanics are my own.
This is really just a fun short story. If there's any interest in it, I may write a proper story in the future around these characters, with more careful editing and likely better pacing.
