In the sleepy Massachusetts town of Cozy Hollow, Thaddeus Beaumont murdered his wife and four young daughters. After burying the bodies under the basement floor, Thaddeus disappeared without a trace. Fifty years later, Los Angeles County Sheriffs Detective, Ed Stone, struggles to raise his four sons after his wife's sudden death. Ed decides he and his boys need a change and Cozy Hollow needs a new detective. Ed moves his sons to the quaint east coast town and buys an old colonial house with a dark history. It's none other than the former Beaumont home. It's not long before the townsfolk start to educate Ed and the boys on the Beaumont murders and other hauntings in the area. One local legend tells of numerous sightings of Skullman, an ominous boogeyman that lurks in the shadows and surrounding forests. Skullman has been blamed for various attacks and missing children over the years. After settling into their new home, the Stone men learn they are not alone. The ghosts of Charlotte Beaumont and her four daughters begin to manifest themselves. Ed cannot help but fall in love with Charlotte's lost spirit. One-by-one the boys and ghostly girls bond. As Halloween draws near, a series of grizzly murders put Cozy Hollow into a state of terror. Is it the infamous Skullman?
