Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...

"Care to play?" I asked, dangling a pair of handcuffs from my finger. He arched a brow at me as I fastened one of the rings around his wrist and threaded the toy through a slat in his headboard. "Just say no, and we can stop all of this right now," I continued. But he didn't. Instead, he raked his gaze over my body with an unbridled hungry desire. He had never stared at me so fervently before, but it was everything I had yearned for and instantly made me wet for him. As I locked up his other hand, I pouted at him. "This is the punishment you get for making me want you," I purred. Then straddling his hips, I slid my hand inside my panties and began touching myself. "Mm, that feels so good," I sighed, stroking my fingers around. Glancing up, I found him intently watching me, an expression of dark arousal upon his face. He bit his lip, and I could feel his excitement growing beneath me as he writhed against his restraint. It was all the confirmation I needed that he was finally mine to do with exactly as I pleased. And I was never one to shy away from a steamy fun time. Best friends aren't supposed to keep secrets from one another but that's exactly what childhood pals, Addison Miller and Vanessa Adams find themselves doing. Vanessa has been carrying around a bombshell that when revealed, threatens to forever change the dynamic that she's built with her boyfriend, Matt Jones and her best friend. But is Addison any less to blame for her own actions? In this game of secrets, who is the real victim? Matt is headed in a downward spiral but when he learns of his girlfriend's revelation, it just might be the thing that finally breaks him. Vanessa's brother, Jake, finally finds love in this enemies to lovers trope. Season Two of My Brother's Sexy Best Friend (Forbidden Love Series) *any sexual themes depicted in this book take place between consenting adults aged 18 and over.

Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though, and everyone knows it. Jace has been out to the world since seventh grade and he never got too much trouble from it, which he is thankful for, but he knows he would be okay even if he was bullied harshly. It's just who he is. Alec Walker is a whole other story, however. He is very basic, brown hair, hazel eyes, all-black attire, and he is well-known throughout the school but he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He loves skateboarding and singing, has good grades. There's nothing overly unique about him- except his voice could make angels swoon. Both boys are different but not so different that you'd think they would dislike each other. Well, you would be wrong. They hate each other with burning passions. Sorry- hate is a strong word. They loathe each other with deep burning passions. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be. It could be my shortest with like four chapters, or my longest with thirty or more. You never know. I hope you enjoy it though!)
