Joanna Beth Harvelle, otherwise known as Jo, has only ever wanted to be a hunter just like her father. But after the stunt she pulled in Philadelphia, her mother Ellen, has her on lockdown. That is until Dean Winchester rolls back into town. He offers her the chance to get away from her imprisonment, but not everything is all rainbows and sunshine in the hunter life. Sam is missing and Dean needs Jo's help to find him. Although, before the two hunters even leave the Roadhouse, Sam reappears with a steady string of injuries. He has been kept prisoner, but doesn't know why or even remember who was torturing him. As the team of hunters try to unravel the mysteries of what happened to Sam, Jo and Dean find themselves falling for each other which ends up getting them into some trouble along the way.
