Though he's got a friend to bring along with him. Who was this man? Why would he trying to help him through the trials? He doesn't even know Steve! Will this stranger create fortune or bring chaos?

This is about a man named Steve, who was, truly..the last human... (A series of short stories that together make up one big story.. but is not a full book.... It made more sense in my head. 'XD ,) Inspired by the official MC book: "The Island" ..as well as the hidden lore in the game itself, mostly dug up in theory videos, over on "Game Theory".... and, my own self, role playing with myself for too long in single player worlds where I don't invite anyone to join. :P Please keep in mind that this ISN'T an origin story. The worst part is Herobrine doesn't even let Steve win at Uno. What a cold-hearted bastard. That one cliche of accidently stumbling in Herobrine's room and finding Herobrine naked will end up with Herobrine getting revenge on Steve. And that revenge...? Did not turn out to what both Herobrine and Steve thought it would be.

The ancient rulers of the world was stirring, and Steve would be caught in between them if they decided to show up. Let's say, he wouldn't fancy meeting them. "Come on now, those so called gods are just superpowered beings. They have fallen, they lose their way, make mistakes, and they aren't necessarily all knowing. So to say, true gods don't even exist in this world." This is a standalone Minecraft short story, with zero connection with the others. I don't own Minecraft and those Minecraftian characters.
