Adele Monroe is a renowned journalist for the San Francisco chronicle. At the young age of 24, she is already nearing the top of her career and she couldn't be any happier.

Erich Blunt is a rich 'Sillicon Valley wiz kid'. At the age of 25, he is the owner of one of the most successful and richest tech companies in the world.

Although Erich and Adele have successful adulthoods, their childhood was the complete opposite. After growing up in the same care home and being failed by the care system, Erich and Adele have learnt to cope with their troubled past together.

Although the pair's relationship has always been platonic, or at least to the untrained eye. It's naive to think that two old friends that share the same house can live together without it progressing into something more.

Neither of their pasts are particularly innocent and it's a matter of time until Erich and Adele are forced to relive their childhood trauma and reignite some old flames to prevent their potential fall from grace.
