Broken Vow

"Stay away from him" My mother yelled
"He is no good for you,he is nothing but trouble"My mother said.
"He will only destroy and ruin you with his words"My mother added

"There are many fishes in the sea,just cast your net deeper" My elder sister said.
"I'm sorry I have tried talking to your mother,up to no avail"My aunt who has always helped in convincing my parents said.

"Listen to your mother,she has your best interest at heart"My father yelled.
"Promise me you won't see him again and will stay far away from him" My mother said.

"I promise" I vowed to my mother with tears in my eyes.
But there are questions I've never asked that has always been on my mind.
