Nixie is a Kook and a Pogue. Born into one of the richest familes on the island she has always been judged on her money. She's best friends with Sarah Cameron and is popular among the other Kooks on the island. The pogues always thought she had a perfect life because of how she smiled and laughed at parties. But they're about to learn that not everything is as is seems. Because Nixie's life is far from perfect. What happens when the Pogues learn that Nixie's life isn't perfect all while searching for lost treasure.

None of us really know what happened to her dad. Despite being a Pogue she is actually on good terms with a lot of the Kook. If you got to know he though you would never guess she was related to Jess and Ivory Cloud. Her family totally hate us by tge way not that she cares. She's a live in the moment kind of girl and does crazy stuff all the time. Major partier, natural flirt, and awesome surfer. Only person I know who gives JJ a run for his money. We all sorta have a thing for her I guess. Don't really know why she hangs out with us. None of us really do. Whenever we ask she always makes a joke. But we're not complaining. She's one of us. She's a Pogue and a Kook.

Holland and John B have had very flirty moments (mainly just hitting on one another and kissing) In this story Holland develops her relationship with him. Holland and John B have always been close. She has always been there for him. Kie and Holland have been friends since prek they're practically sisters. Kie introduced her to the pogues in kindergarten. Pope and Holland are close they always vent to one another when they need. JJ is a lose cannon none the less he and Holland always look out for one another, just like he does the others. The pogues were set on having the best summer possible before school starts back, however that quickly changed when a hurricane hit outer banks and lead them on a wild adventure to find treasure. ***Story was rewritten. {Book 1/2} Growing up in the shadow of her older half brother, John B, would not have been the life Harley would have chosen. But then again, she also wouldn't have chosen to be poor, have a deadbeat Mom, an asshole of a Dad, and she definitely wouldn't have chosen to live in the outerbanks. After being dumped there at age six, Harley learnt quickly, that when you're a pogue, you don't have the best of luck. After being blackmailed by JJ, her brothers annoying best friend, Harley somehow finds herself getting in way over her head on a treasure hunt with John B and his friends, and in the chaos of it all, she finds herself starting to accept the fact that maybe pogue life isn't that bad after all, and maybe a certain blonde headed pogue in particular, wasn't as annoying as she originally thought. For the purpose of this story and the content in it, Harley is sixteen at the start of season 1 and the Pogues/ kooks are aged up by 1 year. John B and the Pogues don't really like it but he wants his sister happy. One day she gets kidnapped and they blame it on Rafe until they get a message from her and realize Rafe is innocent. And one day things happen and she leaves Outer Banks back to her hometown. And stays for a long while and has a kid.
