Taylor is what people would call a "problem child". Since the death of her parents and her subsequent placing into the foster system, she has been dealing with severe anger issues, swinging in and out of detentions, and being passed from family to family all over the country.

To make matters worse, she is now signed up to join a family in her home town, the place where she lost her parents all those years ago.

With painful memories being added to her stack of usual problems, she certainly is in for a challenging last stretch in her high school adventure.

There might be some light in the darkness, however, when Taylor has a run-in with a childhood friend, Colton Gibbs. Things have changed, though. Colt isn't the same quiet, reserved child from forth-grade. No, Colt is now a strong, independent, and confident basketball player that has an NBA future in his line of sight.

When the two reunite, sparks fly. But, what if Taylor's wounds are too deep? Is she still capable of even being saved?

Abbott. Ask away," Fletcher says to one of the girls who is seated at a table at the front of the class, with other kids who all look bitchy like her. "Are you related to the Bolivi brothers?" Her disgustingly sweet voice pukes out. "My last name is Bailey," I say coldly, hating how that was her only query about me. - - - Hazel Bailey. She's your typical Australian teenage girl.
