In 2098 an orphan was caught stealing from a vicious clan of conmen, thieves, and murderers - she was given a chance to live, as long as she joined and swore to follow in their footsteps. Sno, the young girl with snow-white hair and stealthy step, was soon adopting the ways of the brutal raiders, not so much of the violence than on learning to mind her own business and avoid conflict.

The world changed as the years flew by, and Sno grew to appreciate solitude as her mistrust of humankind grew, and at the same time, she was intrigued by the old world and what it had to offer. The world as it was forced its inhabitants to seek refuge, shelter, and safety among others. Groups began to form as settlements were built. Many sought to help, while some turned to ways that would benefit only themselves, and Sno only had an experience of the last mentioned.

She finds herself on a journey that she had never been on before, as there was so much more to discover about the barren land, and even about herself in a world that greatly differs from ours. It had been nearly three decades since the nuclear fallout reshaped the world and was the cause and effect for a wide variety of changes in humans and animals. Everything became the survival of the fittest. Only time will tell is Sno strong enough to gain trust in other survivors crossing her path.

Fanfiction story, inspired by the Fallout Universe and the world of Fallout 76.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! (This novel is under revision as of 2-5-19 up until I feel the true motivation to scrub through most of my older work. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most. She will understand what it's like to become apart of the Zykard.

UPDATE: NOVEMBER 2020: VERSION 2 OUT NOW. IT'S WAY BETTER. TRUST ME! MARCH 2019- I will be rewriting this book soon! There are some things that could use MAJOR changing... -_-;;; Just keep watch for the (REVISED... AGAIN) tag beside every chapter. Look below, even this description could use some major work. I'll work on it eventually. Until then, PLEASE read my original works instead, Petrified and Imagine. They will surely be more interesting than this book I wrote back in 5th grade, about 8 years ago... Cover by Amythic LOOK TO THE MIST TO FIND YOUR DESTINY... One day in MistClan a kit named Mistkit was born. She had always wanted to be leader since the day she began to see the world, and her siblings, Sedgekit and Ivykit, don't think she can be leader. Now she has to try to prove them wrong. Join Mistkit as she grows up in her adventures as a loyal MistClan warrior, and how she rose to the top to gain her victory as Miststar, leader of MistClan. This is a fan fiction book related to the series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. Rated PG for the following: Sad bits Deaths Fighting Kit births (I cannot go into too much detail of that. That would be awfully disgusting.) People at least 8+ should read this. ^^ Unless you're a scared little kittypet who thinks they cannot handle it. Lol, JK. XD This book comes before in chronology: MistClan's path book 1: Into the clans ~MOST READ BOOK OF MINE!~

The scientists of Vault 115 know nothing of the horrors laying outside, waiting patiently for them to open their doors. Though they imagine, they hypothesize, they plan for the absolute worst. Creating super suits to protect them, whether from radiation or physical damage, they still feel as if they are not protected well enough. Centuries, generations, flitter by. Myths and hypothesis turn into facts and waiting for the inevitable. Frightened, scientists continue their studies, passing their knowledge from one generation to another, in hopes that perhaps they will find a way to protect themselves when the time comes to finally open the vault doors. There had been a counter in the main living area of the Vault, but as it counted down the time until the oxygen would run out, people kept getting worked up or scared. In response, the Overseer had it moved to the actual Vault exit, where only the Overseer had permission to go. As children growing up, we were always destined to be a scientist, to continue the research of our fathers and forefathers. We never questioned this, it was just the way things were. However, one day, two children were picked from class and taken away. They had never been seen again. All the other children in the class were confused, some frightened, some angry they had not been chosen. But no matter the emotions, it remained a mystery. A month passed, and two more children had been picked to leave the class, and they hadn't returned either. The children started to feel restless, and the parents of the missing children never said a word, only went to work and back to their rooms, never smiling. This month, the children flitter about the classroom nervously. This would be the day that they would take two more children, if they did it again. And, expectedly, the Overseer had appeared in the classroom. She calmed the children, then read two names off of her clipboard. And she read my name.
