Creative Writing: Stories & Poems
Okay, so for my senior year, I took a creative writing class as an elective. Mostly because I didn't have a sixth or seventh period and I wanted to give it a try. Not only did it have Creative Writing with making different stories, for the second half of the school year the class goes into making poems and crap like that. Making a book on Wattpad about this was my idea alone because I want to share what I came up with. This will include what I wrote down according to the writing prompt given, along with the poems that I made. This book will not last long as this is just to show off what I came up with in that one class, but still, stories are meant to be shared plus its a different kind of creativity. The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. This is a collection of some poems and short stories that I've written. This was actually an assignment in class, but I thought I wanted to share it with everybody. A collection of deliciously, dark poems. #3 in Poetry - 9/6/18 I hope you enjoy and any time taken to read, is greatly appreciated and if you wanted to hit the little vote button or comment, you will have my eternal gratitude. H x The main theme of this book is the macabre and horror. Some of the poems are inspired by horror movies that carry an age 15 rating. There are also some poems touching upon anxiety issues. If you feel you would be upset by reading anything of this nature, then I would advise that this collection may not be for you. Although, for others, it may be of interest, to see another persons experience of this. I will leave the choice up to you. Whilst there is nothing particularly graphic in here, there are scary themes and also some darker themes. There are also some scary images along with the horror themed poems. This story holds albums constructed by me. I'm currently finalizing all my poems in my story book, and publishing them here. I'm willing to publish all of them one day. I have been through a lot of heartbreak in my life. At only 14, I've erected well over 50 poems in only in interlude of only 2 months. From Mid- October to the last day of 2019.
