Basically a couple years ago when I finished this amazing series I was absolutely distraught because the series was never finished after like 7 books. So I took it upon myself to write my own ending for closure lol. I wrote it a while back and it was super rushed so I've definitely written better haha. However, if this gets enough attention I could probably edit it and try to make it better and more in depth If people want. Either way, I'm still really happy with the storyline and the way I tied up all the missing ends (and brought in a bunch of fun plot twists!) and hopefully y'all like it!!

In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way.
