Cameron Silver is a Shapeshifter who lives in the modern human life in a small town with his sister, mother, father and aunt. And he likes it that way. Cam attends school, does his homework, plays video games, has his human friends and so on. If you saw him, you'd see only a normal, if not slightly small, skinny and pale boy of 17. Heck, if he didn't have the sudden urges to shift into a river otter every now and then, he would be human. But even that doesn't really bother him much.

Until tragedy rips his human lie of a life out of his grasp.

Shifters are being murdered by the week, torn in half, mauled and even drowned by wolves. Not only wolves--Werewolves.

Meet the Support Clause. The Ultimate Backup Plan. The We-Are-Forever-Safe-From-Our-Enemies Plan. Yeah. Because what better idea is one than digging up an ancient piece of parchment that unwillingly forces a large, beastly, aggressive specie--the LEAST humane race of the Immortal racess--to fight for a cause that they are not a part of, because they are in debt of something they barely remember, against their own kind?

And then there's Shane Maness, who's his own kind of trouble.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
