"Prove it," he said, his voice was so soft as if it were a whisper. I blinked twice but I still couldn't bring myself to move away.
"Prove what?"
"Prove to me that you could care less about me." He said. He glanced at my lips then stared straight back at me.
Then, he spoke words I never thought I'd hear from him. Words that he spoke with such sincerity.

Nate Robinson was the pain in Maxine Santos's ass.
The two have known each other since elementary and now that they're in Senior High School, Maxine was determined to ignore Nate at all costs.
Since elementary, Nate would get into trouble that somehow always ended up involving Maxine. From breaking the science lab's glass beaker to breaking the window of the principal's car, Maxine knew that things would worsen when they reached Senior High School.
