Bryn Jasper's life is stressful enough when she's competing in her first-ever national writing contest. To her, people have what they're good at, and life is best when they stick to it.
Ace Abbot, senior and highschool quarterback, doesn't quite care what Bryn Jasper believes.
When Ace makes a mistake that lands him in Bryn's corner of the world, the infuriating, intoxicating tensions run high between them. And though he's what Bryn calls a jock, Ace has a writer in him, same as her.
Adding in some dangerous encounters and risky situations, Bryn and Ace find themselves inseparably entangled in each other's lives over and over again.
Before long, everything Bryn knows about love and talent is flipped on its head, leaving her with one worry:
How can she navigate through her feelings for Ace, without getting hurt, or losing all she's worked for, in the process?
