Hiccup, Astrid and Snotlout, were best friends since they were kids. Snotlout and Hiccup both had feelings toward her. After Astrid's father, thought it was best to send Astrid to an academy where she would learn to fight and train. 

While Astrid is gone, Snotlout becomes more popular than Hiccup, Stoick now wishes his son was more like Snotlout. After twenty years Astrid comes back and surprises both with her skill, intelligence, beauty and how much she had grown. 

Snotlout and Hiccup begin competing to win her heart, until Hiccup feels like he doesn't belong. What do Hiccup and snotlout do to win her heart? What goofy things will Astrid make them do? Will Hiccup let go?
