Times change. The Empire falls and the New Republic Rises in its place. Jakku felt like it happened ages ago, and he feels like a ghost living in a world that's left him behind.

All until a familiar name calls him to be a part of something greater. A new Empire, a new era, that needs a new kind of soldier and a new kind of leader to see it through - and needs someone to ride the maelstrom right through the Republic's front door.

Given an opportunity to reunite with his old surviving colleagues and with the Empire that had been his home for so many years, Dorn has his chance to set things right in a galaxy gone insane and, perhaps most importantly of all, make peace with himself for the friends who never made it home.

For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. While independent rebel forces with their minuscule manpower each push back against The Emperor's cruel regime with all their might, they suffer tremendous casualties and are executed with exceptional cruelty. This new spark of a Galactic Civil War has already lit a fire too big to quell now, and will only get stronger. The Empire already has torn apart countless star systems, the inhabitants either joining the untold billions of the Empire, or being crushed under their heel. To be a man in such times is to live in fear, fear of the unchanging cruelty from the Emperor's iron fist, fear of stepping out of line. There is little hope in the midst of the scent of death and the cruel laughter of Imperial Officers, yet many hold on. Meanwhile in a distant and quiet sector of the galaxy, a planet known as Sylvaris resides, unscorched by blaster fire. Soon however, that will change, as a surviving Jedi has been located by Imperial spies on a planet called Ayidia, living in a nation referred to its citizens as "Forshaan". A young child known as Fletcher Carmine happily lives with his parents and his sister here in a shack in the woods, unaware of how drastically this day will change the trajectory of his life, and the galaxy as a whole. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed.
