It seemed everyone wanted something in life, but all I could ever want was a friend. I had almost hit rock bottom, but then Ash appeared. He promised we'd be together forever, but it all faded in a confession. A confession of love.
"What happened to forever?" I asked myself, tears streaming down my soft cheeks. I felt Thunderstorm nudge my side, but I could barely feel it. I couldn't feel myself.
"Abby, hurry up! We'll miss the opening ceremony!" I could barely hear Hop's voice, or his drowned out footsteps as he ran inside the Motostoke Gym.
I nodded slowly, my Rotom Phone tucking itself away in my satchel. My legs wobbled, and gave way beneath me. I felt something grab my arm and haul me up. A voice sounded through the air. "You ok?"
No, I'm not.
