There was no getting out of this. At least not without Tony or Peter dying at the hands of their ruthless captors. On the wall, sticks were scratched in. 8 for all of their attempts at weak escapes, and another 40 beside it. The duo had been there for forty days, almost a month, no one had come and they were weakening. They needed help, and they needed it yesterday.

The route to school was familiar, a blur of sidewalks and crosswalks. I cut through an alleyway- a shortcut I'd taken countless times before, despite the uneasy vibe it gave me. I've seen too much in alleyways to feel completely at ease, but desperate times call for desperate measures, right? At first, it was fine. I hurdled my bag over the wire fence that bisected the alley and started climbing. But then it hit me- that subtle hum at the back of my skull. My spider-sense. It started as a whisper, a soft ring of caution. But in seconds, it swelled into a deafening alarm. My hand gripped the top of the fence, my neck craning to glimpse whatever was behind me. Then, before I could process the danger, I felt it-a sharp, familiar sting. A taser. Pain shot through me, and my muscles locked as if every nerve was set ablaze. My thoughts scattered, but one thing remained clear: I freakin hate tasers. My body went limp, falling gracelessly to the cold, unforgiving concrete. The Chilling Realities Of Hunting And Being Hunted
All Peter and Tony had to do was cross the mountains. That's it. Just climb a few hills and get to the annual Stark Convention. Tony wanted to try something different, a father-son trip as opposed to just taking the boring old private jet. Maybe stop at a cabin on the way back, taking a little family vacation. They didn't count on the snow, or the wind, or the fact that neither of them have cell service. Pain. That was all he knew now. Peter Parker had gotten over the fact that he would never be normal. The whole accords situation, vulture. It was all too much and had started to get to him. Peter got to stay in Avengers tower, and would go on the OCCASIONAL mission with the team, (luckily everyone had made up. Steve and Tony still had problems, but had almost managed to work them out) but mostly he just stayed there for the company, and it just made things better. He liked Mr. Stark. He was like a father to him and,( though he would never admit it) loved him like one. One day when Peter goes to his aunt's apartment, he is taken by someone. He doesn't know who. He doesn't know where. And he doesn't know WHY. Pain. That was all he knew now. Will the Avengers be able to find him? And if they do... Will he be OK? I would like to point out that this story is rated MATURE because of physical abuse, refusing to eat, and possible self harm. If I missed anything, please let me know and I'll add it to the list.
