Corey "Hazard" Jenkins lives in a town that is constantly in chaos: Tentacles grow from the concrete, Dinosaurs have taken control over a major chunk of the town, and people have started to sprout broken wings. Among those disasters and more, the only peace the town has ever secured was through MacGuffin's Eve, a holiday meant to bring stability for a single day (on MacGuffin's Day) by finding the Giant Ruby Crystal which goes missing right after the day is done each year.

And the people who have to find it?

They're called the "Annual Disaster Bunch":

They're the kids who have been the most destructive that year. The kids who make things fall apart at their touch, the ones who are absolute menaces against their own will...

And, to Corey's dismay, that includes them.
