Hunger Games, but make it Star Wars. Roughly following the plots of, The Hunger Games Trilogy. The story will follow Rey and Ben as they try to survive the hunger games, a battle royale, sport made up by the ruthless First Order to keep control over the galaxy, and maintain 'peace'. All the while trying to make sense of the growing bond between them.
Will Rey make peace with the knowledge that her heart has been claimed by a monster?
Will Ben, finally find his flame in the darkness?

Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way. Relocated to another planet, Ben must continue his journey of redemption to find his way back to Rey. Ben and Rey meet new characters along the way, including Ben's twin, Dyren.
