Armin is the second child born into a wealthy, model family. Though, that's what everyone on the outside sees. In actuality, he has a mother that hates him for not being the girl she wanted him to be. His father hates the fact that he's more interested in his books than sports. His sister, Allison, on the other hand, is obviously the favorite just for her gender. Even though, she does terribly in school and is an unpleasant person to be around because of how spoiled she is. The amount of unfairness and the constant belittling within the household is a lot for Armin, though he decides to keep it in.

Until one day, someone unexpected (not so unexpected) finally finds out about what goes on in the Arlert household.
