"What do you think?" "Think of what?" Lucas' eyes scanned the paper in front of him then back up at Milo who tapped out a few notes on the piano then smiled up at Lucas. "Still don't get it..." Milo groaned, his body sagging over the piano as he crossed his legs on the bench below him. He knocked his head over the top of it then flopped it to the side to look at Lucas, "Do I really have to explain this again?" "Please do." _____ Lucas Miller has issues. Lots of issues. He's never been in the same school for more than a few months without being kicked out and getting in trouble. He's given up at this point. Now that he's moving to a new town and getting into a new school, he doesn't expect for him to last long there, especially at a private school, so he planned to not talk with anyone. But when he meets the chaotic duo, Milo Campbell and Billie Evans, in an empty music room, he thinks that he'll make an expectation. Milo Campbell's a normal teenager. He did his homework, got high in his basement with his best friend, almost set his science class on fire because of a dare, ate cereal from a sink. All the normal teenage things. Him and his bestie, Billie have lived by the motto; "It's not illegal if you don't get caught." Though he didn't expect to meet someone so standoffish and quite as Lucas. So he makes it his goal to get him out of his shell, be outgoing, and to make some friends. Well, friends other than him and Billie. But over time, he begins to realize that maybe, he likes Lucas just the way he is. Shell and all. Together, the three find out the mystery of where Lucas' father is and why he left while also figuring out their relationships with others and the world.
