A short story about a short but not so pleasant experience. I wrote this for myself and for others who have experienced similar periods of self loathing and self harm. It needs to be made clear that depression isn't a joke, and if you think it is then the joke is on you. Death should never be an option, no matter how hard it all gets and how god damn appealing it seems, you can find another more peaceful escape. Sure the world sucks most of the time but always have faith that there's someone waiting for you in the distance, ready to help you during your worst state. I'm not so proud to say that the whole thing isn't purely a work of fiction, it comes from personal experience along with all I've learned, read about and seen. *******One request however: if anyone I personally know reads this I'd rather it not be mentioned. It's extremely personal and person to person confrontations are the worst for me. So read it, take it in and think about all the people you know who might be experiencing similar things. Help them out, because who knows, you might be saving a life. Lots of love, Nadine =)

This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. I don't mean to cause anyone problems of any sort, but these are the things I feel and can't help. Please keep negativity away as this is a sensitive subject for a lot of people. Thank you.
