A short story about a short but not so pleasant experience. I wrote this for myself and for others who have experienced similar periods of self loathing and self harm. It needs to be made clear that depression isn't a joke, and if you think it is then the joke is on you. Death should never be an option, no matter how hard it all gets and how god damn appealing it seems, you can find another more peaceful escape. Sure the world sucks most of the time but always have faith that there's someone waiting for you in the distance, ready to help you during your worst state. I'm not so proud to say that the whole thing isn't purely a work of fiction, it comes from personal experience along with all I've learned, read about and seen. *******One request however: if anyone I personally know reads this I'd rather it not be mentioned. It's extremely personal and person to person confrontations are the worst for me. So read it, take it in and think about all the people you know who might be experiencing similar things. Help them out, because who knows, you might be saving a life. Lots of love, Nadine =)

TW warning: Self harm, suicide attempt, suicidal ideation. I wanted to type a story apart from my normal. As we all have been through quarantine, I have seen a lot of deteriorating mental health for a lot of people. I decided to write a heavier piece pulling from my experience and other people because bringing awareness to the alone-ness we can experience is important so we can all feel a little closer together. I felt it was also fitting recalling a tweet where Dream had reached out to a fan when they mentioned that they were struggling. (Not a recommendation to use poor mental health to get your favorite YT's attention, just an example) If this hard topic is not up your alley, you may have to wait a little until I release a different fanfic. *It may not be another Dream one though* Checkout who the story is about: Dream/Clay/DreamWasTaken: IG: Dreamwastaken Youtube: Dream Minecraft: Dream Twitter: Dream Snapchat: Dreampublic Last warning, READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. Mature themes are explored, including and not limited to sexual content and poor mental health.
