Rachel Roth has always had a complicated life. Moving from place to place with her mother to stay hidden from her dimensional demon of a father.

Life would never be easy for her.

Especially when she isn't completely human and being able to do things normal people wouldn't be able to do. Having the ability to feel the emotions that others were feeling, whether it was happiness or sadness, wasn't easy to handle,...being an 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 wasn't so easy.

As a result she tries hard to live just a simple life in the town of smallville. A small town, Rachel has grown to love with the help of Martha Kent, a sweet and kind hearted woman who sees the love in all the small things.

But after Martha's death though, her simple life is turned upside down all because of one boy.

Planning to stay away for her sake and for his, Rachel finds it strange why her powers keep pushing her towards him.
