I lived a simple life. I'd wake up every morning and eat breakfast with my Dad before heading to school. I'd arrive there, do my work, walk back with my best friend, then come back and sleep all of my worries for tomorrow away. It was my routine, it was what I was used to, and that's the way I liked it, that's the way it's always been. 

My life was perfect, until one day he disappeared.

It was so sudden, I couldn't think straight. I was confused, scared, and angry. My Dad was the one person I couldn't lose, so why him? I had made a rash decision and now I'm stuck somewhere I'm not supposed to be in. A world where it seemed like it was taken straight out of a fairytale book, monsters and magic and all of that.

This was nothing I was used to. It was different, It wasn't simple. It seemed like elements, gems, and magic were the only things that would occupy my mind.

All the friends and enemies I made, all the lengths I had to go to, all the things I had to go through. The minute I was revealed to be chosen one of a prophecy I wasn't even able to read, everything I knew changed.

I had a job to do, I had people to protect, and I had a family to get back to.

I'll do anything. I'll go anywhere I need to go. I'll slay any monster I need to slay. I'll save any world I need to save if it means I can see you again.

I know I'll see you again, I love you Dad.

The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.
