Danielle Kaddel is in her last year at Hogwarts when she begins to develop feelings for Adrian, her childhood best friend. Danielle's sister, Imogen, is a year younger but one of the most boy-obsessed girls you will ever meet. (You are more than welcome to hate on Imogen.)

My last year at Hogwarts wasn't going as I had planned after I realized my feelings for Adrian were more than what you should feel for your best friend. Silly little thoughts about him being more than my friend got my head spinning when I noticed he had changed since last year, all the boys had. Theirs nothing wrong with puberty or hormones or the way that feelings for people change, that's a part of becoming an adult, the change.

I didn't see Danielle for what, a few weeks and my brains telling me shes changed. but shes still Danielle, shes still my best friend and there's nothing that I wouldn't do for her. Coming back to hogwarts for what would be our last year, I didn't expect things to be different between us. I suppose that's all apart of growing up, the changes? And not to mention, the friendships that wan to become more.
