Alaura had always lived a sheltered life tucked safely away in her sleepy Tennessee town. However, when a fatal car crash leaves not only their station wagon but also her life in shambles, Alaura is uprooted from her home and tossed into the life of an unfamiliar stranger. Unaccustomed to her new surroundings, Alaura finds herself at the mercy of an unforgiving criminal however; she is saved by a mysterious man in a dark navy hoodie. Reluctant to divulge his true identity, the man reveilles himself as Eminem. There marks the start of Alaura and Marshall aka Eminem's star-crossed romance. But will Alaura be able to overcome not only her sorrow but also her reluctance to fall in love? And did Marshall give up on the "L" word after his divorce with his ex wife Kim, will his guarded nature and moody ways draw the couple apart?
