She woke up in a hospital bed, disoriented and aching, only to be hit with the devastating news-she had been in a terrible accident... and lost the last five years of her memory. The faces around her felt unfamiliar, except for two: her father... and Kai, the man her heart still called home. But reality didn't match her memories. Because everyone insisted she wasn't with Kai anymore. In fact, she was engaged-to someone else. A calm, steady man named Evan, who stayed by her side through the accident... and after. He claimed to love her. And he was patient-painfully patient-even offering to help her track down Kai, the man she swore was still her forever. As she tried to piece her life back together, torn between the ghost of her past and the man claiming her future, she began to uncover a truth deeper-and darker-than she ever expiected. Because finding Kai again wasn't the miracle she thought it would be. And remembering who she once was... might destroy who she's become.
