Christine got married to Raoul and they seemed to be happy together. But in a few months Christine realized that maybe something was wrong. Raoul cheated on her. She thought that maybe she made a  wrong choice and continued thinking of Erik... Her poor unhappy Erik. Is he still down there? Is he even alive?
