"Have you ever felt yourself slowly becoming attached to something that wasn't real?
An idea, or a place, or maybe even the fictional character in that book you just read or that show you just watched.
Perhaps even a person in your dreams?
It happens easily, and it happens fast.
At least it did with me."

Adira "Ira" Chase has been haunted by the dreams her entire life.

Sometimes they embody her deepest desires, oftentimes they are the culmination of her worst nightmares.

They're different every night, but one thing about them has always been the same.

Him.

But when the boy of her dreams shows up in her apartment, Ira is forced to face the possibility that her nightmares might not be as far removed from reality as she once thought.

Liam, the boy she's seen every night when she closed her eyes, the boy she's known her whole life, is real, and not only does he claim to share her nightmares, but he informs Ira that they're both in danger.

It seems someone else knows about their connection too, and they're eager to abuse it.

Liam is unpredictable, cocky, and he seems to blame her for the nightmares that have plagued his life for as long as he can remember.

It's a connection that neither of them wants to accept, but if they're going to survive, they're going to have to learn.

Ira Sharma. She scowls on almost everybody that tries to know her, outside the professional boundary. But she wasn't always like this. She was a lovely, smart girl, whose dream was to study hard and get a job to cater to her ailing mother. But life was harsh enough to shake off all the balance in her life that she had to start learning to live it from the beginning. Her heart and mind have always been in sync with each other. Until one night. When she saw him. Aryan Sehgal. He smiles even at his haters. Coming from a self-made rich family, he had everything he wanted until the picture of his family changed. He was eventually forced by life to take up his grandfather's dream publication company, to save it from moving any closer to the ruinations. Navigating through women's hearts was a game of his left hand, but took an oath to not date anymore in the hope of taking a break before he settled for "the one." Until his eyes met hers. And as if all this wasn't enough, being in each other's vicinity every day was the last thing they both wanted. Ira had promised to not trust people ever again, but she finds herself slipping bit by bit, every second she spends around him, while Aryan loses it sooner than he thought. But he doesn't know her story. And she is rigid enough to not let that guard crumble so soon. Would she be able to maintain her grumpy ulterior with Aryan being by her side? Would she allow herself to live life again? And more importantly, would she be able to allow herself to love ever again?

25 parts Complete

'There's something beyond the mirrors...' She should probably be choosing her majors for college, considering a career, and the direction for the rest of her life. Instead - she's still working at the small town coffee shop where she got her first job. And while commuting from a bigger city to the much smaller town of Briarsfield where she grew up is a pain, Evie likes the stability. The normalcy. Because the dreams or nightmares that Evie had started having a little over a year ago now are anything but normal. Dreams of an endless void of fog. They've persisted and refused to leave her alone now for months. And Evie is haunted by the chilling feeling that she is not alone in the fog. But when the fog suddenly becomes real, weather completely uncommon for Briarsfield at this time of year, Evie wakes up to a sensation of dread. And that something is very different. And very wrong. That something has changed and she's been suddenly put at the epicenter. At the precipice of something life altering. Or world ending.
