This is a short story about a boy who is lonely, with all an aggressive society to live in. He has nothing but a wild dog beside him and which helped him to be a man of courage, optimism, loving, and a kind of short temperate man.
He went as far as he could on this path alone. He learned how to walk alone, how to carry others, how to cope, and solve his problems alone. What is left is a kind of loneliness that requires a lover to resolve. It is the need for physical intimacy, for intimacy, for emotional warmth from a life partner. So all he could do was hope that it would come, otherwise, he would be on a plateau, either suffering or real comfort, a kind of emotional-limbo.
When aggression is combined with deep love we call it passion, their strength exists in that perfect combination. Just as cooking dishes rarely resemble ingredients, so do these emotions of his.
