Virgil is a freshman in college. As a commuter, he doesn't have many opportunities to make friends, until someone comes up to him asking for help.
Suddenly, Virgil is part of a group of people willing to look past the emo look. But even with a group of friends, dealing with school and his family is a struggle and he's starting to reach his limit.
Wattpad considers this story "Mature" due to themes of self harm and emotional and physical abuse. If you believe these may trigger you, do not read. There will be trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter.

At the end of college, he'll move into an apartment, get a boyfriend and start his life. But as he gets caught up in how he really wouldn't mind that boyfriend to be Roman, his high school throws a three-day school trip at him and his friends. He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad.
