Nightmares of Another World

Everything was dark.

The world was suddenly so quiet. The only noise was the sound of a beating heart and the thoughts and dreams of millions, flying by into a cold and dead abyss.

I wake up to a bright warm red light shining into my soul, with power and warmth but at the same time despair and death. When the light began to fade away, I saw it... Ophelia's Light. The world of opportunity for despair and love. It was so stunningly beautiful that I almost teared up, but as the light kept fading more and more, I came to the burning realization that this was no paradise, no... this... was a wasteland.
