Amara Djinn is a young woman who has a strong connection to the Force. A connection that was stronger than what Luke Skywalker had ever felt within his lifetime. Knowing only a little about the force and the Jedi from her parents, Luke himself takes her under his wings and trains her along with his nephew, Ben Solo. At the age of 19, Amara had already become one of the strongest of the new Jedi generation under Luke's new order of Jedi. But not in a way that was normal to most, and not something Luke understood was possible. With her time in the temple, Amara and Ben form a deep, powerful bond that was unknown to all Jedi. But devastation causes the temple to collapse as Amara escapes with her life, hoping Ben and Luke had survived as well.

Years later, Amara Djinn lives in the shadows between The Resistance and the First Order, living out her life in secret as the Jedi who never sided with the Light or the Dark. Believing that neutral ground was the safest place to be, she had gone unnoticed until the First Order captures her. Unknown to the deadly information that the Master of the Knights of Ren was searching for her, Amara is aware it would be catastrophic if she and Ren were to meet face to face. Before her capture, she had done everything in her power to survive...until she realizes who the monster is that lies behind the mask.
