I got the inspiration to write this right after watching the movie "One Thousand Words". It's on Netflix I strongly suggest watching it. I adjusted the concept of the movie to my daily life. I tried my best to keep the main rules of the Tree.

Every word means one lost leaf.
The more leaves lost the sicker one gets.
What happens to the tree happens to ones self.
Written words also count as speaking.

In the movie, Jack Mcall (played by Eddie Murphy) uses gestures and general hand signs. I wasn't sure if sign language applied to speaking or gestures, but I believe it does. It would make sense since that is an actual language, and is used frequently among deaf people.
