This is a sample of my current work to give new audience members a chance to get familiar with how I write and the stories I tell. This story itself is in reference to a singular nation dominated by these powerful beings called "Maljinns," that are rumored to be immortal and happen to snack on people. Society deems them as evil and the spawn of the devil.

- In this story, these beings are introduced as antagonists/the "main" opposition. The story follows a young boy in an active combat squad formed to take on these

No Gods, No Heroes. "In this world, strength decides everything. You are either powerful enough to stand or you get crushed" For generations, heroes have stood as humanity's last defense against the monstrous Revenants-twisted creatures that should not exist. But in a world where strength defines survival, what happens when the line between hero and monster begins to blur? At the heart of this conflict stands Isaac, a battle-hardened warrior whose past is as bloodstained as the enemies he fights. He knows the truth-heroes don't save people; they endure long enough to make a difference. Malick is a survivor, a fighter molded by the streets and thrust into a world that sees him as expendable. But when the world demands more than just survival, will he rise to become something greater-or crumble under the weight of expectations? And then there's Janice, a prodigy raised to be untouchable. Power, discipline, control-she was supposed to have it all. But when the unthinkable happens, she is forced to confront the one thing she has always feared: her own weakness. When the Joint Hero Recruitment Training program is ambushed, the next generation of heroes is thrown into a war they never expected. Revenants are evolving. Humanity's defenses are failing. And somewhere in the darkness, an unseen force is reshaping the world in its image. There are no gods coming to save them. And soon, there may be no heroes left to fight. 🔥 Dark, action-packed, and emotionally charged, No Gods, No Heroes is a tale of power, survival, and the cost of becoming something more than human.
The Age of Solace: The Silver Wolf by -loneXwolf97-
63 parts Complete Mature
Volume 1 of the "Age of Solace" series. (Part 1 of 4). A serious dark-fantasy story. Descriptive violence and gore, as well as dark themes (Rated M, no lemons present). Peace. Conflict. War. Bloodshed. This is the way of things, and this is what happened between the dragons and mankind. Once they were allies. Man was ever growing and learning, while dragons were their guardians, watching over them. But mankind was greedy, and from that greed bred betrayal towards their great allies. In times long ago, dragon and man worked together to rid their realms of the demonic presence that once invaded their lands. Together, they defeated that enemy. But now, dragons are near extinct and the demonic menace has returned. There are humans that possess abilities that allow them to fight back, but it is not enough. Such humans have banded together, in a group called Corvin's blades. They hope to be able to defeat their enemy without the aid of dragons this time... but there is more to all of this than anyone understands. This story follows multiple youthful characters as they not only aid in the fight against the demonic threat, but learn and grow as they discover more about the lands they live in and of themselves. Views on dragons are changing, demons and spirits are invading, and two individuals are in the center of everything that is happening. Was it fate and destiny... or choice and coincidence? *Rated M for descriptive violence and gore, as well as dark themes* * Chapters to be updated* *Cover art was made by myself. Cover by: @Caitlyn-Blayne "After the great war, King Archeron, who was not yet a king, was the obvious choice to be the monarch of Avenlea. He possessed all the qualities a king should have-courage, intelligence, boldness, strength, and empathy-but most of all, the gods had given him a quality of his own, something he could pass on to his children. They gave him fire. Fire that could bring down nations." Jasmine has been told stories of Avenlea since she was a child, but it isn't until she meets a handsome stranger who claims to be Avenlean that she starts considering that the myths could be true.
