Arsyn, the mc has faced little to no child hood because of being forced to be perfect and step on everyone else to be the best by their step father after both of their biological parents deaths. They have gained a manipulative personality from this.
Velvet, another character, has been touch starved almost his whole life because of being neglected by both of
his parents and is used to not being cared for. He has been bullied for almost his whole life because of his name and appearance.
Silas, someone who appears to be Arsyn's best friend that lets Arsyn walk all over her has had somewhat of a good childhood besides the disappearance of her father.
A criminal mastermind makes a bold move against a wealthy client to put himself in a position to retire in comfort. He has no idea what he's up against when a young widow, desperate to make ends meet, sets her eyes on earning the bounty set on his head.
