Twenty two years ago the world ended. Out of the ashes rose a corrupt faction, the Order, that sought to reorder the world in their own vision. Once they realized that over three quarter of the human population had been given unimaginable evolutionary powers, supernatural gifts the likes never seen before, the world became a battleground. War ensued, and it wasn't until the last few years that the world saw some semblance of normalcy once more. When the Order fell, the Control took over.
They swore they were better than the Order. They swore they were different. But those with powers, who'd become known as Enhanceds, weren't so sure. Those without powers, the Nonens, were equally as wary, memory of the wars they'd been forced to fight in still fresh in their minds.
Three main population hubs exist: The Center of Settled Enhanceds, or the C.O.S.E; the Center, and the District. Once known as Seattle, Wa; Denver, Co; and New York, NY; the cities of old are practically unrecognizable.
It's been a few years since anyone has seen the Order, but there are those who know they're not really gone...
That they've just been biding their time to return from the shadows.

Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!Lengkap
