We always ignore the red flags, the ones that tells us to run and never look back. We overlook the things that should stand out more than how his lips look when he's talking to us, or how his teeth shine when he flashes his kilowatt smile. We only notice the way his lips brush against our cheek, how his warm breath dances with our ear drum when whispering sweet nothing's in your ear. We fall in love with false promises and unreturned love.
