She wont let these new and strange boys see her cry, she wont show them any signs of weakness. She can't, she's the only girl and she needs to be tough. It's the only way to survive this harsh new world she finds herself in. Being tough and ruthless catches the attention of one particular builder. He's not one for emotions either, especially in a place like the Glade. He knows something is off, and he does his absolute best to keep order around him and in him, when everything's falls apart. Are these two destined to be together? Or are they too similar in personalities? Are they too broken from their own traumas to work it out? Maybe she likes him. Kind of. Maybe he might like her. As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways.
