Ayla (eye-la) is an 18 year old Moon shadow elf. She never knew her parents. Her mom died giving birth to her and her dad, Orion, was called upon to help protect the dragon Queen, Ayla was just nine months at the time and was left in the care of Runaan. Orion never came back as he intervened Verin when he was about to kill Rayla's parents. Verin grabbed the egg, trapping Orion's sould in a coin and then he fled. Runaan was left to raise Ayla and she grew up calling him dad, he was dad to her as she never knew her biologically father, Runaan was the only dad she knew and he loved her like she was his own daughter.
